… we really had them.
We even had a river behind our house!
The rain was during YOME, and I think there were a few showers after YOME as well. We hadn’t really had much rain until then. Thankfully, the roads weren’t too bad as they sometimes are when it pours.
April 2 was the end of football season.
… now we realize how much time there really is in a week!
Later that day was William’s 1st birthday party at the park.
I got tons of pictures of the kids, but sadly can’t post most of them. The portrait of Candace blowing bubbles is from that day.
Then on the 2nd we were at another park for Hope’s birthday party.
We had 10 kids on the teeter-totter at once… I don’t have any pictures of that, but it was tons of fun, though complex in trying to balance out everyone’s weight.
Hope was willing for me to take lots of pictures of her… though most of them are quite goofy faces. I can’t believe she’s 3.
That same week we Irish danced for 9 Kindermusik classes.
Lots of yummy food was eaten in April… these are some:
The 8th to 15th was YOME.
Then was a week where mommy had vertigo, which kept me really busy – doing school, cooking, overseeing Nate and Candace in music, chores, etc. … and surprisingly, on top of that, I was able to get all of my lists done…
Sunday she was feeling a little better, but daddy was flying, so we took at taxi to the beach for the sunrise service.
We had a time of singing and one of the interns preached from Colossians 3. Then I took pictures of the kiddos near (and in) the water… and then spent the rest of the day with Hannah. 🙂
April was insanely busy and felt very long, but not a whole lot was actually going on (at least to take pictures of ;)). I think it was more just fullness in LIFE. … and learning to love the richness of fellowship and His Word, and persevering in trials (of which there were many in April).
How was your April?
