She identifies herself most with Piglet in Pooh, but we think she bears a lot of resemblance to Christopher Robin. 😉

Zoo day!
I love their wonder at the animals. When we turned the corner and S saw the giraffes, she said “They’re that tall!?!”

Jewel Weed on our Free Forest School hike. A beautiful plant and so much fun: the seed pods “explode” when you pinch them!

E loves the puddings in Sushi Go (S can actually play it, but E just picks the cutest card, usually pudding or dumplings), and requested pudding for her birthday cake. She doesn’t actually LIKE custard and pudding, though, so we schemed up a cake that was her favorite flavors (peanut butter and chocolate) and looked like a pudding from Sushi Go. It ended up looking even more accurate than intended because the frosting started sliding off and the top layer of the cake also slid.

Much-loved pajama pants.

I’ve lauded corelleware frequently in the past, and it’s still less breakable than most things, but we did have our first piece of it break. One piece in almost 6 years of marriage, one of which has been in a kitchen with concrete floors isn’t terrible, but I don’t let the girls walk around with them as much anymore.

Not pictured: Ezra’s brother got married, and the girls were flower girls.
